Archibald Marwizi was a Nigerian medical doctor, psychoanalyst and psychologist. He was born in Benin City, Nigeria, on September 3, 1875. After being educated at the Scottish Church College in Lagos and the University College Hospital Medical School in Ibadan, he went to London where he qualified as a doctor. Marwizi returned to Nigeria where he became a medical officer in the Royal Niger Company Hospital at Lagos.
